The Challenge
What Armax Was Facing
Armax was building a field service management tool for mobile engineering teams — but they had been burned before by a large agency that spent six months building features no one used. When they came to us, the explicit brief was: no more assumptions. Build the minimum version that a real paying client would use in production, then let the clients tell us what to build next.
The Solution
What We Built
We ran discovery interviews with three of their prospective clients before writing a line of code. The consensus was clear: the single most painful problem was job assignment and real-time technician location — not the scheduling, reporting, or invoicing they originally asked for. We built job dispatch, GPS tracking, and status updates. Everything else was logged as a hypothesis. It shipped in 11 weeks.
