The Challenge
What Mabat3D Was Facing
Mabat3D believed architecture firms were paying too much for bespoke 3D rendering studios and would switch to a self-service SaaS tool if the output quality was high enough. The assumption about quality was the risk: if the MVP looked like a free tool, the market would dismiss it regardless of the price. The founders needed to prove premium quality was achievable in a short build cycle.
The Solution
What We Built
We scoped the MVP around a single project type: residential floor plans converted to 3D walkthroughs. No commercial buildings, no outdoor environments, no custom material libraries. We integrated a high-fidelity rendering engine, built a simple upload-and-configure UI, and set a strict visual quality bar that had to be hit before we shipped anything. The MVP launched in 11 weeks, intentionally narrow.
