What MaxSense Was Facing
MaxSense had hardware expertise but no software product. The founders believed industrial clients would pay for a cloud dashboard that aggregated sensor data from their existing equipment — but they had never sold software before. The first question was not what to build; it was whether anyone would pay at all. They needed a fast MVP that could answer the pricing question, not a full platform.
The Solution
What We Built
We built a focused MVP: ingest sensor data via a lightweight agent, display it on a clean real-time dashboard, and trigger configurable alerts. Stripe subscription was wired in from day one so that every activated account was paying, not trialling. We deployed to five pilot clients simultaneously in week 10, with each client on a different sensor type to stress-test the ingestion layer.
