What Quick Was Facing
Post-pandemic return-to-office created a brief but real demand spike for lightweight desk and meeting room booking tools. The founders had the insight early but no technical co-founder. They came to us with a Figma file, a launch date, and a clear message: we need this live in 5 weeks or the moment passes. Every feature request that came after week one was a negotiation.
The Solution
What We Built
We treated the Figma file as a contract and scoped only what was drawn. Real-time desk availability, room booking with conflict detection, Slack notifications, and a simple admin view. We deferred user provisioning flows, reporting, and visitor management. The 5-week constraint forced discipline on both sides — and the product was sharper for it.
